Refunds

Last updated 17 October 2026. Effective from that date.

You choose a size and pay first, then upload your script. The short rule: if you do not get a pack, you get your money back. If you get one and cannot use it, we make it again for free.

If we cannot use your script

If we cannot read your file, the upload page asks you to paste the text instead. If that still does not work, or your script is over 130 pages, the upload page has a "Get a refund" button. It refunds the full price straight away. You can also email hello@withmagic.ai.

If your script is longer than the size you paid for

If you paid for a short film (up to 30 pages) and your script has 31 to 130 pages, you can pay the $20 difference or upload a shorter script. If you would rather do neither, email us and we refund the full price.

If you paid but have not uploaded

Nothing has been made yet, so email us and we refund the full price.

If your pack never arrives

If your pack is not finished 6 hours after you upload your script, we refund the full price automatically. If a person is checking part of your order, we email you to say so, and if it is not finished within 24 hours of that email, we refund the full price automatically. You do not need to ask, but you can email hello@withmagic.ai at any time. A refund includes the $20 upgrade, if you paid it.

If your pack arrives but you cannot use it

Reply to the email with your link within 14 days and say what is wrong. A person looks at it and runs it again for free. A delivered pack is not refunded.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. They usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Not covered

We do not refund an order cancelled because it broke the terms, for example a script you did not have the right to use. This rule does not limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
