Privacy policy

Last updated 17 October 2026. Effective from that date.

This policy explains what Storyboard with Magic (storyboard.withmagic.ai), run by WithMagic ("we", "us"), collects, why, who else handles it, and how long it is kept.

1. What we collect

• Your email address, to send your pack link and messages about your order.
• Your script, as a file or pasted text, and what we work out from it: title, page count and scene count.
• Order details: price, payment status, the time of the order and the pack we make for you.
• Payment: Stripe collects your card details. We receive only the payment result and the email you used. We never see or store your full card number.
• Audio requests: if you use the audio form, your email, the link you share and your note.
• Your IP address, kept for up to 24 hours to limit how often forms can be sent and stop abuse.

2. How we use it

• To make and deliver your pack, and to email you about that order.
• To give refunds and answer support emails.
• To prevent abuse and keep the service working.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. We send you emails about your order only.

3. Who else handles it

These providers process data for us, only to run the service:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores your script, the pictures and your pack (Cloudflare Workers, R2 storage and D1 database). Its Workers AI models read uploaded PDF and Word files and draw the pictures; the drawing model receives short scene descriptions, not your script. Cloudflare also sends our emails.
• Anthropic receives the text of your script through the Claude API to write the shot list and character descriptions. Anthropic's commercial terms state that it does not train its models on API data by default.
• Stripe processes your payment and receives your email and payment details.
• Resend may deliver our emails if Cloudflare email sending is unavailable.
• Telegram carries internal alerts to the person who runs the service, such as an order number and its cost.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

4. Cookies

Our pages set no cookies and use no analytics or tracking scripts. Stripe's payment page sets its own cookies, needed for payment and fraud prevention.

5. How long we keep it

• Orders that are started but never paid: deleted after 24 hours.
• Your script, pack and pictures: deleted 90 days after payment, or sooner if you ask.
• Payment records: kept by Stripe, as financial law requires.
• Audio requests: kept for up to 12 months, or deleted sooner if you ask.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, by emailing hello@withmagic.ai from the address you ordered with. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

7. Security

Scripts and packs are kept in private storage and are only shown through your pack link, which has a long random code. Anyone with that link can see the pack, so share it with care. Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

8. Children

The service is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes that affect an open order will be emailed to you.
